This month our class is heading back to Hatch for digitizing. To prepare us, Sarah (Vedeler) gave us a challenge to complete before class. Since we are alternating between two Sofware applications for class, Hatch and Corel Draw, this is an excellent plan. For the challenge, she sent us a blurry fish picture. Our task was to create the fish using only open and closed objects, as well as outlines and fills. Finally for this design, it is embroidery only and no applique’. Below is the starting image, my take on the digitized fish, and finally the stitch out of my design.
