Saturday was all about assembling the quilt top for my undersea quilt. The top consists of 4 borders, working from the center outward. It was a great day to quilt – it started snowing Friday evening and it still hasn’t stopped!!!

Border 1:
- Sides: 41.5″ each
- Top/Bottom: 26.5″ each
Border 2:
- Sides: Sew the segments to the longer strips. Trim to 46″ each
- Top/Bottom: 6.5″ + 18.5″ + 14.5″ -(.25+.25+.25 +.25) The lengths are prior to sewing together. Total finished length is 38.5″ each
Border 3:
- Sides: 6.25″ + 26.25″ + 25 = 57.5″ each
- Top/Bottom: 2.25″ + 18″ + 14″ + 6″ + 2.25″ = 42.5″ each
Border 4:
- Sides: (57.5″ – 2(.25)) +2.25″ + 2.25″ = 61.5″ each
- Top/Bottom: (42.5″ – 2(.25″)) + 6.25″ + 6.25″ = 54.5″ each
Finished Top: 54.5″ X 73.5″
